The ‘THING’ about dyeing with native plants, mushrooms, lichens, etc, is that it forces you to get up, get out and get moving, right?? And it’s all FREE, responsible wild crafting/picking only please 🙂
I know, right!!!! The only thing, you’ve got to get into the woods, identify them and pick them!!!! Not all mushrooms are dye-worthy, but there’s many natives in Michigan!!
Love these colours. Would love to try this. I have only dyed with koolaid for needle felting. I’ll have to learn more! 🙂
