I usually leave the ‘back’ unfinished [not unlike a hooked rug], but you could hand-stitch a piece of wool fabric to the back if you were inclined? I’ll post pics of the ‘back’ of one of my pieces also. I usually finish each piece with whip-stitch the edge/perimeter with wool yarn. More details forthcoming. 🙂
