I’m really quite the ‘Neanderthal’ when it comes to computer stuff…and pretty much fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants kind of gal! So, you can imagine my surprise… and delight… that I was ‘awarded’ the Liebster Award by Kim from Red Rope Farm. The wonderful thing about the internet is that you have the opportunity to meet soooo many people from all over the world who share a common interest(s)! Isn’t that great?!
So, I never heard of the ‘Liebster Award’…is it a derivative of the German word to love? Liebe as in ‘Ich liebe dich??’ No matter…
The goal of the Liebster Award is to recognize crafty blogs with less than 300 followers and share them with others. Upon accepting this award you agree to: 1) Blog about the Liebster award & reveal your 3 blog picks; 2) Let the recipients know that you chose them; 3) Copy & paste the blog award on your blog.
So, today I’m sharing the love and sending the Liebster Award to:
Teemie’s Country Blooms ~~~ A native Michigander, Teemie is a creative spirit and raises herbs in a unique ‘sun pit greenhouse’.
As the Goat World Turns This is a new blog collaboration between two girlfriends who are taking time to share the wealth of their experience on goats, sheep, donkeys…and so much more! Crafty? YES! Crafty in how they manage their farm…utilitarian projects such as making your own hay feeders, cheesemaking, making a sling for a prolapsed ewe…and lots more!
and…
The Happy Pheasant where Amy, also a native Michigander, farm wife, homeschools, soapmaker, artisan and more ~~ carrying on old world traditions in every day living!
So, welcome! I hope you find the time to drop-by and say ‘hello’!
Jenny I must say we’re honored! Thank you! This is something totally new to us as well and I can’t wait to pass it on. What a neat idea 🙂
Wow, Jenny. Thank you so much! My very first blog award. (: I am so excited about this. Can’t wait to post on my blog and pick out three great blogs to pass on! Great idea! Thank you thank you. Amy (:
Thanks so much, Jenny! It’s amazing how blogs and the internet in general are such a great way to share and find information and inspiration. Keep up the good work!
You gals have inspired me to get on with trying my hand at HARD cheesemaking this season…as soon as hubby makes me a cheese press! Too much fun!
