Frost was definitely on the pumpkin the other nite! Thought I’d better tend to the garden and pick the veggies that wouldn’t survive the freeze – green peppers, tomatoes, green beans, basil, dill and such. It was probably a good idea to tidy up the garden anyway since this weekend I’m one of the destinations for the 12th Annual Country Heritage Color Tour. You can find out more about these family farms and businesses at http://countryheritagetours.wordpress.com The self-guided tour runs Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Grab a girlfriend or two and enjoy the fresh country air, pick up some apples and enjoy simple country pleasures!
The pic above is a little halloweenie prim I made from my hand-dyed wool and sold at the Mt. Bruce Sheep & Wool Festival. I’ve been fiber’n lots to fill my little shop with one-of-a-kind fiber art. I guess you might say that my hands are never idle!
Have a great day and hope to see you this weekend!
