Howdy folks! Celebrate the arrival of Spring with us at the Metro Parks Wolcott Farm Learning Center during “Sheep Shearing Saturday”, tomorrow, from 11 am to 3 pm! There will be plenty of fun for the entire family. Observe sheep being sheared in the barn, dyeing wool with Kool-Aid and participate in a craft or two. Hope to see you there!
Hi ; I found you through primitivebettys; since I live in MI I had to look you up. I love that soap; what an unusual idea. I just love it. I also love your blog : Ill be adding it to my ever growing list of true faves! Your kitchen is so pretty; I wonder what paint brand you used? Was the name of the color linen? You do have a wonderful life on the farm. I live in the thumb; near Caro; I have been to Frankenmuth many times and will have to check out that shop you all went to. I am in the country and collect country things. I hope you will shpw the rest of your home. Have you been in Country Sampler Magazine? If not, you sure should be. I need you to come do my kitchen LOL!!! You seem like a great decorator as well. Nice to “meet” you; Merrie
Hi Merrie!
So glad you visited! The paint I used for the kitchen re-do is Ace Hardware’s, from their ‘historic’ palette, WICKER D17-5, in Satin. I’m think’n about Lazy Beige C24-3, for the top half of the walls in the dining room. It has tones of gold that would offset the WICKER that I’ll use on the wainscot and chair rail (bottom half of the wall)…but I’m still playing with color options???
